Day 1 - July 2nd 2020

We begin. We go to the Greensboro (GSO) airport and pick up our Chevy Camaro at Alamo. Unfortunately, the car smells a bit like cigarettes and the tank is half full, but my optimism tank is maxed out! Driving the car back to the house feels great - I begin to imagine the possibility that I might get sick of driving a convertible after a few days...but I shake the thought out of my head! Big smiles all the way home - a kind trucker honked to let me know about an upcoming speed trap - so nice!

Heading to Chattanooga, TN bright and early tomorrow. Will report then!
