Hotel: YEHS Hotel Melbourne CBD
Hotel Review: Good enough. It wasn't terrible - but it wasn't lovely like the ones in Sydney and Hobart. It was in a good location but it was older and in need of renovation. The shower was hard to get into, but the bed was comfortable enough, the room was quiet enough, and overall it was clean enough. The price was really good ($80/night) and the reviews were excellent (4.5 stars on Google), but I should have read through the reviews a little more. According to some folks, they allow people to have a late checkout if they leave a 5 star review. I'm not going to post any pictures of this one - just our lovely pictures of Melbourne - but picture a Red Roof Inn or Motel 6. Anyway - you can find a better hotel - there are plenty of them! Lesson learned!
Sights Visited: Queen Victoria Market, South Melbourne Market, Chinatown, Lune, National Art Gallery of Victoria, Bar Hum Bug, Crown Casino, State Library, Joan of Arc Statue, Royal Arcade, Southbank
Restaurants we liked: Koy Gozleme @ South Melbourne Market (for a cheese & spinach Gozleme), Boreks @ Queen Victoria Market (and South Melbourne Market), C9 Chocolate & Gelato (for passionfruit gelato), Shanghai Street in Chinatown (for handmade dumplings), Xie Xie (for savory pancakes), Lune (probably the best croissant I've ever had - just get the plain one - it's delicious!)
What we think of Melbourne: Most of our time in Melbourne was spent eating - in case you couldn't tell! And the food was amazing! They have so many awesome spots for so many different kinds of wonderful food - I'm jealous of everyone who lives here! I recommend coming with a friend or two so you can share dishes, trying as many delicious treats as you can! Our waistlines are grateful that we only stayed here 2 days.

Could someone skip Melbourne and say they saw Australia? I think so! Especially if they're not a foodie - but we really enjoyed it and we are glad we came. Now, we're at the Melbourne airport. Next stop - Brisbane! Can't wait!
