Day 1

We arrived in Reykjavik around 8am. It took about an hour and a half to get through customs, retrieve our luggage, and get our COVID test (we tested negative of course - we are both vaccinated!). We waited a half hour for the rental car shuttle and another hour to actually get our rental car. We arrived at our hotel at noon and were very pleased we could check-in because we took a good, long nap. Afterwards, we walked downtown and checked out some cool spots (see below).
